   
Welcome to an Historic area of Lake Arrowhead, The Arrowhead Villas! This community was established in 1925 and features homes that range from unique vintage cabins to newer homes. Located off of Highway 18 past the Lake Arrowhead business turnoff, Arrowhead Villas is commuter friendly and close to the prestigious Lake Arrowhead Village restaurants and shopping. 
The Villas used to be a bustling community with restaurants and a ski run that ran from the Villas down to Lake Arrowhead below. Arrowhead Villas has a rich history stemming from Prohibition and gangster Bugsy Siegel. The Bracken Fern Manor and Tudor House, located in the Villas, were originally built by Siegel as a bordello and private gambling resort. There was a tunnel that led from the bordello across the street to the speakeasy/gambling hall, which is now the Tudor House, a private residence. The surrounding villas that were built to house the women of ill repute became the beginning of the Arrowhead Villas community. The tunnel is closed and the Manor is now a bed and breakfast of fine repute. The ski run is no longer active and the restaurants have all moved to Lake Arrowhead or nearby Skyforest. Driving through the Villas, you can almost hear the ghosts of the past and imagine the roaring 20's in this area, with starlets, mobsters and the rich and famous coming here to get away. The Arrowhead Villas community is a quiet, gorgeous area to simply relax and refresh. There are full time residences as well as vacation homes in the Villas, and this mixture lends a peaceful quality of life here.
